General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for seminars and training courses organized by VOBE-Inspires People GmbH
1st registration
You can register for our seminars and training courses in writing (by post, e-mail) or via our online registration form system. By registering, the participant declares his/her binding participation in the respective seminar or training course. Participation is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. VOBE-Inspires People GmbH confirms the registration in writing. Participants’ data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone courses if the number of participants is too low (less than 6). In this case, you will be notified by us at least 10 working days before the start of the course. Costs incurred by the participant as a result cannot be claimed from VOBE-Inspires People GmbH.
2. fees and terms of payment
The current participation fees can be found on our website: www.vobe-be-reayd.com or in the seminar program. All prices are exclusive of the statutory value added tax. The seminar fee must be paid within 14 days of receipt of the invoice without deductions. The course fees stated on the website are subject to errors and changes.
3. services
The course fees include the services listed in the seminar program, such as seminar documents, catering during the seminar days and a certificate of attendance. VOBE-Inspires People GmbH is also entitled to have the agreed services provided by vicarious agents and third parties. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the price, unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. implementation
VOBE-Inspires People GmbH reserves the right to cancel or postpone seminars and training courses for good cause (e.g. insufficient number of participants, failure of the speaker). In this case, participants will be informed in good time. Costs incurred by participants as a result will not be reimbursed.
5. withdrawal and cancellation
Cancellations by participants who have already registered must be made in writing. Cancellations up to 30 days before the start of the seminar will be charged a processing fee. The full seminar fee will be charged in the event of later cancelation or non-attendance. Cancellation free of charge is only possible if a substitute participant is named or the seminar is postponed to a later date.
6. liability
VOBE-Inspires People GmbH shall not be liable for any damages caused by force majeure, the speaker’s absence or other unforeseeable events. Any liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Participation in the seminars and training courses is at your own risk.
7. copyrights
The seminar documents and other materials are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without express consent. The use of the documents is permitted exclusively for the participant’s internal purposes.
8 Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these GTC and the seminars and training courses shall be governed by German law to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
